Windows audio "default device" setting not respected
In at least Windows 7 (and possibly other versions), it is possible to set an audio playback device as the default device. In a system with multiple playback devices (e.g. onboard sound, sound card, USB audio device) this should result in playback being routed through that device.
Currently, OpenMW appears to play its audio on the first available device (?) rather than the default device. In my test case, this was an onboard sound system rather than the USB device I expected, meaning the game appeared to have no sound until I traced the issue.
It is particularly important that the user-selected default device be preferred given that there seems to be no way (or at least no obvious way) to set the playback device for the game through its options menus currently.
