Description

I played a summoner recently and never had any problems with summoning several default Morrowind creatures simultaneously, but when I tried to use wolf/bear from BM or fabricant from TR, they instantly started fighting other summoned creatures or player. This does NOT involve player attacking any of the creatures as described in #3867, only summoning.

To reproduce:

1) add the spells/items:

player-> addspell "bm_summonwolf"
player-> additem "mazed_band_end" 1
player-> addspell "summon winged twilight"
player-> addspell "summon golden saint"
player-> addspell "summon dremora"
player-> addspell "bm_summonbear"
tgm (if necessary)

2) call dremora, twilight and saint; notice that they are not fighting.
3) add wolf/bear/fabricant; all the creatures start fighting each other

History

#1 Updated by scrawl . 5 months ago

IIRC we added a hack so that summoned creatures don't attack their summoner despite any 'Fight' AI value, but we may have forgotten to apply the same for summons attacking other summons.
