Accept a file format other than nif
It would be very nice if OpenMW accepted a file format other than .nif. Currently you need to downgrade to Blender version 2.49B to export as .nif and that means you have to animate and texture your nif in a very old Blender. There is also an exporter for 3Ds Max, but that program is paywalled, clunky and does not export nif/kf/xnif correctly in my experience.
If you could have the game accept a file format Blender exports without the need for version-dependent plugins, then I'm sure all the modelers would praise the Tribunal a thousand times over.
