Description

A request for a console command that shows the current OpenMW version. The reason for the request is to always have that information easily available as a thing to ctrl-c during play for e.g. bug reports. Unless there's already some way to do it right now besides restarting with --version or restart to check the main menu.

It could be called "version" and typing it would result in something like:
Version: 0.36.1
Revision: 355ef14d2364edad71af7164be45335325e544bf

Would it make sense to add this info to "help" command when it's implemented (Bug #1607)?

Regarding if this should be part of the "help" command, I guess it depends on if it was there in vanilla Morrowind. If it was there vanilla Morrowind, then it makes sense to add it. If it wasn't, then I'd be fine to add it as a new "version" command, especially since the description of help as "a list of commands" doesn't suggest that a version string will be added.
