Footstep volume issues
There are 3 issues regarding the volume of footsteps.
-
The player's footstep volume doesn't change when the footstep audio slider changes. The slider can be at 0, and the player's footsteps are still heard.
-
The maximum level of the footstep audio slider is much louder than vanilla. This leads to the optimal range where the footsteps are at a good level being very small, and moving the slider just a tad makes a big difference in volume.
-
Related to 2. The default footstep sound level with no sliders changed is a lot louder than vanilla. The slider is at around 60%, but for it to roughly match up, it has to be around 15%.
